So this year I am also going to post 52 beers you have to Try before you die, Beer bucket list. I was going to do 365 but I just do not have the time to drink every single day, and it gives me a nice round number to hit over the year. AMounting to a new or even favorite beer every week. Some will be beers I have always had and loved, (you all know October fest will end up there) others will be beers I step out on the limb to try and if I like it, that brew will get a quick post. Once in a while we may even get a post with an extra Skunky beer taste face. Others will fall into the category of I rate it with my normal go to rating system (against my Favorite beer) and say this is beer Number 34 you have to try before you die. It will be fun and it will expand your beer tasting horizons so buckle up. If I don’t like it or its overall rating is below 6 It won’t get posted. The ratings I will give them are 1-5 Bottles or mugs 1 (still being a great beer a 1 rating is not a bad thing and worth a try) and 5 (A must have beer. With a Special 6 Pack rating those beers being the best of the best. At the end of the year they will be rounded up by rating. So all are at least worth marking off the beer bucket list. Some better than others…….
Beer Number 2 is 1881 Indigenous California Red Ale
Here is a link to the Ruhstaller history page If you want to find out more about the company.
While watching the football playoffs, not too many better places to try some new beer. My sister in Law Katie brought over a bottle of the 1881. I do like how it has a little sweater type thing around the bottle neck. I poured the two glasses out of ther bottle (usually in a 22 oz that is all you really get, but for $4.99 not bad) It is a Red Ale, but reminded me of teh Stouts I love so much, a very smooth flavor that had to me almost a mocha caramel taste. 1881 should be a must on anyones list. I am going with a 4 beer rating on this one,
And only because I liked Dragon's Milk a bit better and gave that a 5, I rated this slightly lower, but as I have said if it makes this list (without a skunky beer face) weather it is a 6 or a 1 it is worth your time. TRY IT!!!. I will say as far as Ale's go this is tops. A very very good Ale.

Disclaimer I am a beer drinker and a beginner home brewer the above is only my taste buds telling me what I enjoy, it is not the law or rule of the land, these would be the beers that I am grateful to have tried before the day comes when I pass on and meet my maker.
