The "Almost" Daily Beer and Bike Log July 30 2015

Yeah Yeah I know it has been a while since I have posted. Been busy. Anyway have had some interesting beers and have some in my fridge that are just waiting to be tried. This one was fantastic and I will do a full review soon but you have Arrogant bastard....Bourbon Barrel aged...Enough said..

On my birthday took a little trip to the liquor store (where if you are a VIP member you get 10 percent off on your birthday) and stocked up on some good stuff. Sierra Nevada Hoptimum, a Foundry Triple IPA the above mentioned Stone Barrel aged Arrogant Bastard. among some other beers I enjoy just having in the fridge.

I just put our memorial Day Kolsch into the refrigerator (we will pop open some this weekend during the UFC fights)

and My Small Batch Scotch Mocha is ready to bottle.

We may also do a small gallon batch Double IPA this coming weekend. so there you have it you have been brought up to speed on the comings and goings. More to talk about soon

The "Almost" Daily Beer and Bike Log July 14, 2015

Been a while since I have posted. Life gets in the way sometimes. But Just to catch up, got to try my Cherry wheat beer, in one word terrible,

Not enough flavor nd what flavor there was, was not very good. On the plus side I also tried my Bitter sweet IPA, not bad, drinkable but needs more hops,

I will revisit this recipe and add a bit more in the way of hops, maybe cut back on the tangerine a little.

I also just bottle our Memorial day Kolsch with these caps..Nice right?

Also one of my daughters spent some time with Dad as I transferred the beer.

She told me a story I did not understand but was very passionate about. Always good times when it comes to the kids

And this coming weekend I will bottle my single gallon Scotch Ale.

There are some other recipes in the works and I am looking at hopefully getting out on a ride once in a while even if it is just with the wife and kids. Although I am dying to get on a trail with the woods around me. Well that is the price of having kids, but it is well worth it, the trails and beer is not going anywhere,

But the kids these are moments we can never get back
