The "Almost" Daily Beer and Bike Log April 6 2015 Brew Update

During this holiday weekend, Easter is about family and of course Jesus. So as far as Bike riding went, although it was great weather I did not get any riding in. My Oldest daughter had softball games all day Saturday, and Sunday was time spent with family.

But I do have some news as our beer went to secondary fermentation

it came out a little high on the gravity side from the initial fermentation at 1.038 but hopefully secondary helps with that.

Also got to try a few beers over the weekend. Excel’s East Side IPA, Sierra Nevada’s Stout, Union Jack IPA and Holy Moly Bourbon Aged beer fromCathedral Square Brewery Divine Beer. All were good some were great, but you will have to wait on those reviews.

Also chatted with a few people about taking the tops off some kegs that were acquired to try and make some brew kettles.

Those may actually get done soon. Overall a fun weekend, now if I can just get some riding in that would be great. Hopefully soon
